our vision for the future
My name is Marcus Brown, I am the founder of D.I.M.E. (Dance Is My Everything). For as long as I can remember I’ve always wanted to impact the world. In the past 6 years I've created a business, that influences and inspires the youth in my community. At D.I.M.E. we teach hip hop dance classes on a weekly basis. We currently teach at our personal dance studio. Located at 1914 Main Street Evanston, IL. D.I.M.E. was created to provide a family environment for the youth. We teach at ten elementary schools. We also teach with other providers like YMCA, Y.O.U. and more. We provide job opportunities, scholarships, and we work with many students with different abilities. When I first created D.I.M.E. my goal was to provide a space where students could be free and gain confidence. Over time it has become so much more. We have been bonded together creating a strong love that has touched many of hearts. D.I.M.E. is a place where you escape and go to an entirely new world full of joy and love. All different students from different homes, different backgrounds, different upbringings, come on together and that's what we're all about. We encourage our students to follow their dreams and to use that dream to spread love to others. This is what we believe the world needs and we intend to continue to always inject love.
